Our mission is to represent and empower the Korean American community of Los Angeles County. KAFLA aims to protect and advocate for the rights and interests of Korean Americans, foster amicable relations and cultural exchange between Korea and the U.S., and promote interaction and understanding between the Korean American and other ethnic communities. Our vision is to bridge generations and organizations, and to prepare the next generation of leaders of the Korean American community. KAFLA also works to preserve Korean culture, bridge the gap between Korean and mainstream American cultures, and to foster inter-cultural exchange and understanding.
